Methylation Cycle Block

Methylation Cycle Block can create Chronic Illness.

I have learned the correct ways of dealing with this problem, and it is not as complex as they make it out to be. You don’t have to spend hundreds and thousands of dollars to know what to do and what is going wrong within the Cycle!!

Methylation Cycle.

If it is in a state of low function, you will  have Chronic Illness in all its forms.

I have found the key to the true workings of the Methylation Cycle and overcoming the actual blocking sequence, and it is not as complicated as it is being shown to be. See my page on Neurogenic Desensitization , this is part of the key process to reestablishing repair.

Methylation Cycle Block is a fascinating subject, and one of the many complex functions within the human body, along with the Citric Acid Cycle, (or Krebs Cycle as it is also known), of which the Methylation Cycle is part. What makes the cycle break is the key not the fact that it is broken. Whether it is from true Heredity or Acquired you have to know why your body stays broken in this key area of function. It is a puzzle, but it is not un-fixable.

I have written this page two times now and trashed each. I want to take a very complex and long-winded subject and bring it to you so you may easily understand what it basically is, what happens when it is not working well, and what it can mean to unblock the block to this malfunction.

Let me begin by saying that after twenty-five plus years in practice, Methylation Cycle Block was one of the largest single components I learned about, and the source for why some of the chronically ill cannot get better.

For some of you, Methylation Cycle Block is an acquired problem that gathers momentum over time. For others, it is Genetics alone. Yet for most, it is a combination of Heredity and Acquirement.

As the years rolled on, I found several key things that, if not dealt with properly, those who were unwell would not or could not find real wellness again.

For many, the Methylation Cycle Block problem is the most difficult to find and manage properly. It is the Needle in the Haystack.

I have also given consideration to the similar cellular block condition that can isolate out or be part of the Methylation Cycle Block problem. It is called The Nitric Oxide Cycle Block. It is actually being addressed by the treatment of the Methylation Cycle problem, yet for some, it has special significance due to nutrients required.

If it were not for great recent research in the area of Genetics and specifically Nutri-Genetics, (or what is being called Nutri-Genomics), we would still be finding people who could not get their wellness back.

Since learning about Methylation Cycle Block about two years ago, I have been able to take the concepts of repair into my system – “The ReeSet Wellness System” – and make it into a non-guesstimation way of managing the defects and eventually open up the blocks.

The testing is the key. When you blood test, urine test, saliva test, etc., you are not seeing the picture in its total format. You will not find the individual nature of your Methylation Cycle Block bu fractionated Blood Chemistry Testing.

It is an aspect of cellular chemistry that can and does give you good information, but it changes by the day, week, and month. Who can afford to do tests even weekly? The cost is staggering, and the information is very hard to act on for the individual who is taking new products periodically or adding more amounts of the products.

For most, it is a kind of guess and see what happens method of working with cellular chemistry.

Put chemistry aside for a moment. What about the Bio-Energetics that are equally or more important for the analysis of the changing terrain? You forget the energetics and you are driving you body’s car with just two wheels, so to speak.

What is Methylation Cycle Block or Stasis?

In each of us, we have a cellular computer of a sort that sets the stage for functional cell continuation. When a cell is on duty and responsible for a series of specific actions, it does this very wise thing by its personal memory or, to be specific, a program code. It has a great memory up to the limits of its individual imperfections. We are all given by heredity the sum total of all the damage and strengths that our forefathers gave us and if the DNA has been Damaged in the methylation aspect of cell and liver functions then you will have the Methylation Cycle Block problems.

If you were lucky, and your ancestors did great things with and for their bodies, you received lesser built-in faults and more resistance to current day issues. If not, then you are in more in trouble.

Imagine that you have a circle or loop made into a kind of assembly line. Each person that works on that assembly line needs to be there because they each do a very important job. There are just enough workers on the assembly line to be very effective at the work they do. Yet let’s say that in another factory next door, the same products are being made, but the factory is short several workers. They are missing here and there down the assembly line. The work still, in part, gets done, but the quality of the work goes down. Over time, the workers who are doing the work get very tired. The end result is lack of production and methylation cycle block.

This is a basic example, to say the least, of Methylation Cycle Block. The factory workers in this real case are chromosomes and alleles and DNA. Specific weakness to the cells’ function where the workers left the line are called Single Nucleotide Polymorphisms (SNPS or Snips for short).

Many different types of nutrients are needed to help the process of Methylation to work properly, but seldom are the many that are suggested to be used, in my findings, the key nutrients that make the difference. Some do show up time and time again. Others less so, and some rarely.

It is very important to remove or alter the reasons why these methylation blocks came to be in the first place, and to help the body out of the Bio-Energetic Blocks as well. Then you quickly see that the key nutrients surface and work much faster. Everything is about cellular balance and stability. Nutrients can only work if you stop the competing issues for cell functions.

Only my program has the ability to identify and create directions that incorporate all things needed to fix what needs to be repaired with methylation cycle block.

On this website, you will find the intricate things that as a whole create ignorance and lack of ability to protect yourself and family. Education is the key, not the reliance on doctors to fix you when you get in trouble due to things you could have stopped yourself.

We need the emergency room staff when we are broken due to physical trauma. God Bless Them. Yet YOU need to be the one who takes care of your body in the life process. We all need help at times from professionals in various walks of life as we cannot learn it all.

Yet when you do need them, it is always wise to be at the very least partially educated on how you want them to help you. How else can you know if they really know what they are doing for you?. Two researchers have broken the ground for further research in the area of Methylation Cycle Block, Rich Van Konynenburg and Dr. Yasko’s work.  Each of them use a guesstimation approach to how to deal with this overall problem. They are to be commended for bringing this problem to light and have done a great service for practitioners to be able to help their patients.

Yet when you read the various forums on this subject, you quickly see that they are floundering with what to do, and they never know if what they are doing is really the right thing or amount.

I felt it only right to give you a look at what they have found. I have found that the information below is correct in regards to the outcome of using the various products, but the application and individuality of the use of these products is what is lacking.

With my system and program, the guesstimation and where you are at is removed. The huge costs are eliminated as well.

Chronic Fatigue Syndrome is a symptom, not a diagnosis, and the name of the game is to identify the underlying causes. In fatigue syndromes we don’t see macro-pathology, we see micro-pathology… that is to say the problems are bio-chemical and occur at the molecular level.

There are several cycles, ( especially including Methylation Cycle Block )which I now know to be centrally important in causing fatigue. All these cycles interlink with each other like Olympic rings and getting one cycle going will drive another. The important cycles which I know to be major players include blood sugar wobbles, allergy problems, sleep cycles, mitochondrial function, anti-oxidant status, the NO/OONO cycle, thyroid and adrenal hormone cycles, and detoxification. I am greatly indebted to Rich van Konynenburg for updating me on a new player which interlinks with many of the above, namely the methylation cycle.

The Methylation Cycle

There is a generall recognized idea that ineffective methylation is a major cause of fatigue. There are many possible reasons, but those that he has identified for which methylation is essential to are:

  • To produce vital molecules such as Co Q-10 and carnitine.
  • To switch on DNA and switch off DNA. This is achieved by activating and deactivating genes by methylation. This is essential for gene expression and protein synthesis. Proteins, of course, make up the hormones, neurotransmitters, enzymes, immune factors and are fundamental to good health. When viruses attack our bodies, they take over our own DNA in order to replicate themselves. If we can’t switch DNA/RNA replication off then we will become more susceptible to viral infection.
  • To produce myelin for the brain and nervous system.
  • To determine the rate of synthesis of glutathione which is essential for detoxification.
  • To determine the rate of synthesis of glutathione which is an essential anti-oxidant as glutathione-peroxidase. Furthermore oxidative stress blocks glutathione synthesis – yet another vicious cycle!
  • To control sulphur metabolism of the body, not just glutathione but also cysteine, taurine, and sulphate. This is an important process for detoxification.
  • As part of folic acid metabolism. This also switches on synthesis of new DNA and RNA.
  • For normal immune function. The methylation cycle is essential for cell mediated immune function and blockages here will mean that infections will not be adequately dealt with. I know this clinically because many patients tell me that once they get on to their B12 injections (an essential co-factor for methylation) this seems to protect them from getting infections.

The overall effect here is that if the methylation cycle doesn’t work, the immune system malfunctions, the detoxification system malfunctions, our ability to heal and repair is reduced, and the antioxidant system malfunctions and your are effectively Methylation Cycle Blocked.

The Bio-Chemistry

There are four cornerstones to the methylation cycle and on each cornerstone sit four molecules, namely homocysteine, methionine, S-adenosylmethionine (SAMe) and S-adenosylhomocysteine. Each of these molecules leads into the next one by means of enzymes. The important co-factors that allow this to happen are the B vitamins such as folic acid, vitamin B12, and vitamin B6. In converting from S-adenosyl methionine into S-adenosyl homocysteine, a methyl group is given up and this can be used to stick on to other molecules – hence the name, the methylation cycle.

However, there is a particular bio-chemical glitch here which is part of Methylation Cycle Block. In order for the methylation cycle to work these B vitamins have to be in their activated form, namely methylcobalamin, folinic acid and pyridoxyl-5-phosphate. In order to get cobalamin into methylcobalamin, the methylation cycle has to be working. If this cycle has crashed completely, the body can’t make methyl cobalamin in order to get it up and running again. Since this cycle is so fundamental to other biochemical cycles, including trans-sulphuration and folate metabolism, it can’t change the vitamin B6, folic acid, and cobalamin into the active forms necessary for the methylation cycles to work.k.

This means that in order to get this cycle up and running, initially we have to prime the pump with the activated vitamins.  Hopefully once the methylation cycle is up and running, it can function on the vitamins in their normal states.

Testing for how well the methylation works

Conventional Medicine does not have a simple test to see how well the methylation cycle works. What we can do is measure levels of homocysteine and SAMe. If these were raised this would show a blockage in one part of the pathway. Indeed, a raised homocysteine we know to be a major risk factor for arterial disease, almost certainly because this represents blockages in the methylation cycle. However, one could have a normal homocysteine and normal SAMe, but blockages elsewhere in the system, which would still impair the ability to methylate. There is no simple test.  YES THERE IS, AND IT IS NOW AVAILABLE HERE AT THE REESE WELLNESS SYSTEM.  My Methyaltion Cycle Block protocol for testing the intricacy of the methylation cycle block problem work every time. The best part about it is that it does not cost you thousands of dollars per month, to keep on top of the changes that occur when you start the repair process.

How do we go about treating this? And what is the cause of this condition?

Before we discuss the treatment aspects of this problem, lets see what some of the possible causes of this might be.

There is much speculation about cause and it is something like the Chicken and the Egg. Which came first.

It is said to be Inherited from parents and generations back, in that what they did to themselves that caused damage to their DNA became some of the first links in the Gene stucture to be influenced in a negative direction. An imprint of a sort that carried from one generation to the next and each generation added more of their bad atributes to the damage pile.

The other aspect is that you yourself coming from your conception in the womb had things directly hurt you Gene and DNA structures and you added to it through your life time. Some of you were hurt enough right in the womb and came out with Methylation Cycle Block already in place. Others of you accumulated your damage as the years rolled on. Things like synthetic chemical, heavy metals, electromagnetic field hypersensitivity impact, bad microorganisms, dental work and bad foods all set the stage for cell damage.

I treat this in a manner very different than anyone else I have seen out there who is trying to help people with this problem. The sum total of the knowledge on this website is the core reasoning to the principals of my protocols.

If you read this website from begining to end you will see the make up of the areas that need to be addressed and repaired in order to be able to create balance within the break down of the cell structure.
